KARACHI: The ambulance driver has made startling revelations in Irshad Ranjhani murder case, who was killed on February 6 by UC Nazim Rahim Shah at Bhains Colony.The driver, in his statement disclosed that accused Rahim Shah again opened fire on the injured Irshad Ranjhani while victim was being rushed to hospital.The investigation officer, probing the murder of Irshad Ranjhani, presented the final challan in the Anti-Terrorism Court here Tuesday.According to the challan, the driver who was shifting Ranjhani to hospital, has revealed that injured Irshad Ranjhani was first shifted to police station and later he was being taken to hospital in the ambulance along with inspector Ali Gohar when accused Rahim Shah appeared before the vehicle.Rahim Shah said stopped the ambulance forcibly and again opened fire at Irshad Ranjhani.The driver went on to disclose, “As Rahim Shah opened fire on injured Ranjhani, the police officer who was also present in the ambulance ordered me to remain silence and keep moving towards hospital.”However, accused Rahim Shah managed to flee on the motorcycle, the driver said.“When we reached Jinnah Hospital, Ranjhani had succumbed to his bullet wounds,” the driver added.The ambulance driver said he did not disclose it before the police due to fear of Rahim Shah, however, now he was revealing it.
