Fire erupts at Foreign Office building in Islamabad

Fire broke out at the fourth floor of the Foreign Office building in federal capital in Sunday’s wee hours.Rescue teams have arrived on the spot. Three firefighting vehicles are present at the FO premises,  trying to extinguish the fire. Smoke can be seen billowing from the building's fourth floor. The fire may have been caused by short circuit, the Foreign Office staff told Geo News. There was no general staff at the building because of weekly holiday. A guard of the building alerted the Rescue teams about the fire. The Islamabad police also arrived on the spot.
