PM Imran praises NZ PM Jacinda Ardern over humane handling of Christchurch tragedy

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday called Jacinda Ardern, the Prime Minister of New Zealand on telephone to condemn the terrorist attacks on two Christchurch mosques last Friday.PM Imran expressed his admiration for the humane handling of the situation by her after the horrific shooting incident that claimed lives of over 50 worshipers. He appreciated the quick response of the local authorities and the high level of respect shown by the prime minister for Muslims.Prime Minister Arden has shown the way to other leaders in the face of rising Islamophobia and global extremism, he said.The PM added that he was calling Prime Minister Arden on behalf of the people of Pakistan to thank her for her compassion, leadership and decisions that won her many admirers in Pakistan.
