LAHORE: Former Punjab chief minister Shehbaz Sharif and his son Hamza Shehbaz on Wednesday appeared before the  accountability court  in connection with an inquiry into Ashiana Housing Scheme. Strict security arrangements were made around the court on their appearance.At the onset of hearing, the court said it would record  testimony because all the lawyers were present.  Amjad Pervez, Shehbaz Sharif's lawyer, told the court "we are bar's representatives and Punjab Bar Council has given a call for strike".The judge told the lawyer that the court has not received any notice regarding the strike. Sharif family lawyers, however, said they were leaving the court to observe the strike.The NAB had arrested Shehbaz Sharfi in October last year in Ashiana Housing sceheme case. He was released on bail by the Lahore High Court on February 14.The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday ordered the government to remove Sharif's name from the Exit Control List (ECL), paving the way for the Opposition Leader to travel abroad .
