ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has congratulated to Afghanistan on their team's first ever win in test cricket.Afghanistan claimed their first ever victory in Test cricket Monday, beating fellow newcomers Ireland in what captain Asghar Afghan hailed as a historic day for the war-torn country.PM Imran took to Twitter saying “Congratulations to Afghanistan on their team's first ever win in test cricket.”He went on to say, “The Afghan cricketers have achieved amazing successes in such a short period of their exposure to international cricket.”Afghanistan has gained one-day international status in 2009 and have qualified for their second 50-over World Cup in England and Wales, due to begin on May 30. They have also been part of four Twenty20 World Cups.
