ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has extended greetings on the occasion of Navroz to the Parsi community. In a tweet published Thursday, PM Imran wrote:"A Happy Nauroze to all those celebrating it." Navroz is a New Year celebration which is observed worldwide by various ethno-linguistic groups. This festival is celebrated by diverse communities.Navroze marks spring arrival which is celebrated with the same spirit every year. On this event fire festival ‘Chaharshanbe Suri’ is celebrated and several food items are prepared. In Iran the festival is celebrated for 17 days.
