Karachi Traffic police on Wednesday announced special traffic arrangements plan to ensure smooth flow of routine traffic during the matches of Pakistan Super League (PSL),scheduled to be played from March 7 to 17, in the metropolis.Parking arrangements have been made in Hakeem Saeed Play Ground, Urdu University, Sunday Bazaar, opposite Bait-ul-Mukarram Masjid in Gulshan.The spectators will be asked to show their tickets and CNIC for parking their vehicles, said spokesperson Karachi Traffic Police DSP Saeed Arain.The residents of the districts Central and West will take left turn from Hassan Square via Nipa and Liaquatabad no 10, to park their vehicles to reach Expo Center through a shuttle service, he said.The residents of districts Malir and East will take left turn from Millennium Mall after passing through Drigh Road and Rashid Minhas Road to park their vehicles in Ghareeb Nawaz football ground to get shuttle for reaching Baharia University, on Stadium Road Karachi.The residents of district South, Korangi and Defence will take the route from Shahrah-e-Faisal, Shahrah-e-Quaideen, Allah Wali Chowrangi, Society Signal, Peoples Chowrangi, University Road and Hassan Square to take a U-turn from Bait-ul-Mukarram to park their vehicles in the ground of Expo Center.The traffic from districts South, East, Malir, Central and West can use both side of road from Mirza Adam Khan Road, Lyari Expressway, Maripur road and Sohrab Goth.Sohrab Goth to Nipa, Liaquatabad no. 10 to Hassan Square and PP Chowrangi to University Road will not be accessible for heavy traffic.
