LAHORE: Detained suspect Faisal, who was blamed to torture wife for refusing to dance in front of his friends, revealed that he and his wife Asma were addicted to drugs.The suspect,  during the interrogation, made startling revelation, saying, he and his wife are addicted to the drug and were not in their senses when the sad incident occurred, adding that they were taking ice heroin. Faisal told the police  that he  doesn’t know when he tortured Asma and shaved her head, adding that  he and his wife usually fight on domestic issues.According to Police, the both  Faisal and Asma first met at dance party four years ago  where they were also having drugs.  It is also learnt that the woman had three children from her first marriage and had  bad relation  with second one that is why she decided to marry Faisal who  divorced her first wife to wed Asma.Police have arrested the suspect after Asma filed a case against Mian Faisal.It is pertinent to note that victim Asma Aziz was allegedly assaulted by her husband and his friends in Lahore’s Defence area for refusing to dance in front of them.She told that she was brutally tortured by her husband Mian Faisal and his friends with pipes, adding that she was held down by a servant while her husband shaved her head.The woman added that she managed to escape from the house and reached a police station, where she was asked for money. She said that her medical checkup was also not arranged due to lack of money.Asma had performed love marriage with Faisal four years ago.
