Murad condemns skirmishes on floor of the assembly

KARACHI  : Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah while talking to media at NED university on Friday, where he attended a two-day international conference condemned the incident that took place on the floor of the assembly The CM said it was quite deplorable and uncalled for and these incidents should not take place in the assembly which had passed Pakistan Resolution. Murad said that skirmishes that took place during the Sindh Assembly Session was quite deplorable. “I condemn it in strong words and it is uncalled for and I have never seen such an attitude before in the assembly,” he said Sindh Chief Minister and added that the inexperienced assembly members had no knowledge of the code of conduct and respect of the august house and its members. “Just they want to play with the galleries and hit the headlines but what message they are giving to their constituents through this deplorable attitude,” he asked.  Shah  further said that the opposition members tried to manhandle a member of MMA. “This is a very wrong tradition being developed in the house by the opposition,” he said and added he would try to develop a conducive and friendly atmosphere in the assembly because this the assembly which had passed a resolution for the creation of Pakistan.To a question, the Chief Minister said that the issues of education boards and universities were not new. He said that in 2016 he had conducted an inquiry into an educational board by CTD because they had the expertise. “I had the powers to oust a chairmen board but I wanted to bring them to book for making malpractices,” he said.The CM of Sindh said that he was trying to make educational boards to work  free from any interference. “We have to make these institutions strong enough so that no illegal work can be done there,” he said.Talking about the appointment of Haris Gardezi as his coordinator, the Chief Minister said that he was a senior economist. He would help to create social protection in our on-going and new projects.
