Fayaz Chohan removed as minister after derogatory remarks against Hindus

ISLAMABAD: Fayaz-ul-Hasan Chohan has been removed as Punjab Information Minister following his remarks against Hindus, sources said Monday.Prime Minister Imran Khan took notice of the derogatory remarks of Fayaz Chohan and asked Chief Minister Usman Buzdar to take action against the minister by today.Sources said Chohan was asked to resign and his resignation has been accepted by CM Punjab Usman Buzdar.Syed Samsam Bukhari would succeed Chohan, sourees said.Taking notice of Chohan’s remarks, PM Imran Khan said, “There is no place for such derogatory remarks against minorities in Islam.”
